Andrea is a multi-disciplinary designer who embraces the gray area between design and science,
combining skills in quantitative and qualitative research, ergonomics, design thinking, and design making.

Andrea graduated from Cornell University with a multi-disciplinary BS degree in mechanical engineering and ergonomics, where she conducted research studies on physical and cognitive ergonomics in product design. In her MFA program at the School of Visual Arts, while continuing her focus on human-centered, design, she expanded to on user research methodologies, systems thinking, branding, and UX design. She has worked with Localized, an education start-up on several research, user experience, and brand building projects.
Andrea is currently a fellow at the Groundfloor Incubator, as the lead designer and strategist for a new social innovation-driven digital service.
